:: Robin Gibson

Robin (41) graduated from the University of Natal with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Statistics. He then joined Old Mutual in Pietermaritzburg in an administrative role after which he moved to Protea Life as a broker consultant and then to First National Bank subsidiary First Bowring as a Financial Planning Consultant responsible for the Natal Midlands branches. In 1998 he joined the Harvard House Group and is responsible for assisting clients with their holistic financial planning needs.

 

:: Philip Geary

Philip (55) has many years of investment planning and advice behind him. After becoming the youngest Branch Manager at Liberty Life (in Pietermaritzburg ), Philip joined Bowring Barclays as a Life Broker in 1982. He then became Regional Manager for Protea Life in Durban where he won Manager of the Year for four consecutive years. He was promoted in 1992 and became Assistant General Manager, responsible nationally for sales and distribution. Philip started his own Financial brokerage in 1995 until he sold it in 2003 to accept a position with HSBC Bank as Area Sales Manager in the Middle East. He was responsible for Dubai, Jordan and Lebanon. He joined Harvard House Group in October 2007 and provides clients with financial planning and investment advice.  

:: Chris Young

Chris Young (33) grew up in the Midlands. He started out in the sales industry in 1995 selling gym contracts. In 1997 he joined Ellerines where he worked in the retail industry for more than 7 years, fulfilling many management positions. Chris left the retail industry in 2005 to go to a Bible College for a period of 1 year. He joined Harvard House Group at the end of 2006 to work in the investment department as a trainee consultant. He is currently studying financial planning through Intec College.

 


:: Quentin Gibson

After a 20 year career with Rhodesian Customs Quentin transitioned to become a short term loss adjuster. He ran his own business in this capacity for over 25 years. Quentin's experience in the area of short term insurance policy contracts and claim settlements makes him the ideal short term insurance adviser. Quentin is responsible for the day to day management and service of Harvard House Group client's short term insurance needs.

:: Dave Davidson

Dave (50) has 22 years service in the investment/insurance industry. He has worked as a Broker Consultant for various insurance companies. In 2004 Dave became a Financial Advisor and started assisting clients with their total financial planning needs. In 2008 he joined the Harvard House group and provides clients with financial planning and investment advice.





:: Dave Vermaak

David has in excess of 40 years experience in the Financial Services industry. During this time he spend 33 years training & developing brokers, right through to managerial experience at MINT Private Financial Planning, Old Mutual’s high net worth personal financial planning division. He started his own business in 2002 to conduct holistic, independent financial planning, to clients who value personalized professional service.
